These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure that all transactions are conducted appropriately and that www.lamount.com is a secure place to trade. They set out the full terms of the relationship between you and Lamount Ltd in connection with this website and any orders placed with us, via but not limited to our website (www.lamount.com), e-mail, facsimile transmission, or telephone. Whenever you place an order with Lamount you are accepting the following terms and conditions.

What you can expect from us

1. No contract for the sale of any goods will subsist between you and Lamount unless and until Lamount accepts your order by charging in either full or part, your Credit or Debit card, against payment for goods ordered. 
All Credit and Debit card payments are subject to validation checks and to authorisation from the card issuer.


2. All Lamount Credit and Debit card transactions are handled by Protx.
Protx is a secure online payment processing facility, which has been approved by Visa and Mastercard. Protx adopt bank approved software and the highest level of encryption via a secure server to ensure that Credit card and Debit card details are kept secure at all times. We will send an e-mail (in instances where you have provided an e-mail address for correspondence) confirming dispatch of the goods you have ordered and/or issue you with a unique order reference which may be advised via e-mail or telephone as applicable.  


3. Credit and Debit cards are charged at the time of shipment.  All prices are ex works, ex VAT and subject to delivery charges unless otherwise agreed in writing, or unless in respect of UK deliveries they meet minimum order, free delivery value.


4. Title of goods will pass only upon receipt of full payment.

5. Although we warrant that the goods are of satisfactory quality, no warranty is given or implied that any product we offer is suitable for any specific application.

Because we have no control over the way the products are being used we urge you to ascertain for yourself that the product is suitable for the intended purpose as we are unable to entertain claims for consequential loss or damage.

6. In the unlikely event that you receive products which were not ordered or which are damaged or defective you should notify us within 30 days of purchase. All returns must have prior authorisation and you must request a Returned Goods Number (RGN) or the return will not be accepted and any associated costs for return to sender will be payable by you. We will send you an e-mail confirming the RGN and instructions for returning the product. The RGN is valid for 14 days date of issue. We will reimburse carriage costs if the product is proved to be defective and either replace or refund at our discretion.

7.  Lamount will not be liable for defective product arising out of fair wear and tear, negligence or wilful damage and liability is in any event strictly limited to the invoiced value of the goods concerned and relating to a period of 12 months from the date of invoice for these goods.

8.  Lamount may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. At such times Lamount will issue them as a new version at www.lamount.com and these will also be available in hard copy upon request.

 What we expect from you


1.  It is your responsibility to ensure that we hold your correct details (in relation to orders placed) and that Lamount can not be held responsible for any errors or delay relating to the inaccuracy of information held on our records.

2.  You undertake that all details provided to Lamount for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own (or that you are an authorised user) and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods ordered.

3   You accept that e-mail can be used, and is an acceptable means of communication.

4.   On receipt of the goods you will check them and providing that they are in good order will sign for them as so. If you haven't received the goods within 7 days of our notification of dispatch or have received them in poor condition please contact us otherwise we will deem the delivery to have taken place.

We will only send promotional e-mail to you with your permission and will not pass your details to a third party without your consent.

The information that we collect enables us to process your order properly and provide you with the best service possible.
